When Ashish Patel was growing up, he always knew he wanted to work in dentistry. Even as he navigated his first positions at dentistry practices in Nashville, he said he knew that eventually he wanted to open his own business focused on special aspects of dentistry he felt were neglected.
“I had opportunities to join these practices as an owner, but I knew I wanted to open my own business near where I grew up. I wanted to bring evidence-based dentistry to the forefront; a dental office where therapeutic decisions are based on risk analysis linking medical and dental data,” Patel said. “ I truly feel the greater Nashville area now has an office for this type of care.”
Patel grew up in Nashville, graduating from Franklin Road Academy in 2005 and Vanderbilt University in 2009. Following his graduation from Tufts University School of Medicine, he made his way back to Nashville. In 2015 he settled on the Brentwood Hill Center for his office, two years before construction would be completed and he could begin practicing.
Flash forward to October of 2017 and Patel has opened his practice. The office is inviting and beautiful, designed by the Nashville based Pencil and Paper Co. Now, he runs a full-service practice with cutting edge technology and personal, efficient service. One of the highlights is their CEREC service, or same-day crowns.“ Patients can enjoy one-visit-dentistry with CEREC… No more messy dental impressions with our 3D Intraoral dental scanner.”
They offer dental cleanings, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, periodontal treatment, tooth-colored fillings, dental implants and Invisalign. In the coming months, Botox services will be added to help TMJ problems. He hopes to further expand his team this year, bringing even more versatility and talent to his practice.
When asked what sets Nashville Dentistry, Co. apart, Dr. Patel said “Great dentistry begins with a friendly smile and a judgement free zone. We believe in educating our patients about their options and providing answers. The technology in the office puts us at the forefront in providing dental care… [We] put an emphasis on making each dental visit as stress-free as possible… We are a friendly office that puts value into our team by participating in continuing education and trying to be on the forefront of dentistry.”
Another helpful aspect that Nashville Dentistry, Co. has to offer is their payment plans. They have programs such as CareCredit and LendingClub as well as an in house dental savings plan. Dr. Patel states “We have created the Nashville Dentistry Co. Health-Savings Plan. By signing up you and your family, you receive benefits such as: no waiting periods (start your treatment today), no claim forms, no yearly maximums, no deductibles, no ‘pre-authorizations’ required, no ‘missing tooth clause restrictions or exclusions.’”
Right now, they are running a patient special of $59 for exams and radiographs. They are also offering a free Sonicare Electric Toothbrush for the first 100 patients who pay for a comprehensive exam, radiographs, and a cleaning.
