BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Jan. 3, 2018 – Beaumont, Texas-based Jason’s Deli has signed a lease with H.G. Hill Realty Company for Hill Center Brentwood. The fast casual restaurant will begin renovations in the first quarter of 2018 on the 5,569 square foot building formerly occupied by Ruby Tuesday.
“Consumers these days are concerned with the quality of food they eat and what they feed their families,” said Jay Tortorice, president, Jen-Tex Deli’s Inc., and the son of Jason’s Deli founder, Joe Tortorice Jr. “Those that live and work in the area know this, and that’s why they have been asking us to come to Brentwood for years. Finally, we have found the right fit at Hill Center Brentwood and are pleased to bring all that is Jason’s Deli to this vibrant community.”
Founded in 1976, Jason’s Deli is known for offering healthy meal choices in a family-friendly environment. Its current footprint includes more than 260 restaurants in 29 states, with Middle Tennessee locations in Franklin, Nashville and Murfreesboro. In addition to winning numerous industry and consumer choice awards, it was the first national restaurant company to eliminate partially hydrogenated oils in 2005, several years before the FDA mandate. Since that time, processed MSG, high-fructose corn syrup and artificial colors/flavors/dyes were also eliminated from its menu.
“As a family-owned and community-focused company, Jason’s Deli is a welcome addition to our tenant roster,” said H.G. Hill Realty Company Chairman and CEO, Jimmy Granbery. “In fact, I recently learned that Jay’s grandfather was in the grocery business. Their long-established history and shared family roots further align the company with ours and we are pleased to bring another quality restaurant option to the Brentwood community.”
